Whispering Smith has completed an £8M investment in its new Manchester headquarters at 274 Deansgate. The building brings together functions that have until now operated separately: design studios for the group's owned brands and private label division, in-house photography studios, and a showroom for retail and wholesale partners. Housing them in one building shortens the distance between a first sketch and a finished range presented to a buyer. The space was designed in partnership with Sheila Bird Studio, the Manchester practice known for its work on the city's creative and workplace buildings. 274 Deansgate becomes the group's principal creative and commercial base, hosting buyer appointments, brand shoots and range development across all of the Whispering Smith portfolio.

The group's womenswear swim and resort brand launches a capsule collection with ASOS, joining a premium edit of brands that now includes Ralph Lauren and For Love & Lemons. The collection arrives as ASOS continues to build out its premium brand mix, bringing labels such as Ralph Lauren and For Love & Lemons to a customer base of over 20 million across more than 200 markets. Going Somewhere sits within that edit - a considered swim and resort proposition for a customer who buys into a point of view rather than a price point. Going Somewhere is built on destination dressing. Each collection takes its name from a place and is designed around it: Côte d'Azur, Siargao, and a Mallorca story to follow. The brand works across swim, resortwear and nightwear over four drops a year, and has been in wholesale since 2024, stocked by ASOS alongside a considered group of independent swim and beach boutiques.

New 50,000 sq ft distribution centre opens in Rotterdam, extending the group's logistics network into mainland Europe with same-week dispatch across the EU.
Whispering Smith has opened a 50,000 sq ft distribution centre in Rotterdam, the group's first logistics site in mainland Europe. The facility gives Whispering Smith a base from which to serve retail and marketplace partners across the EU, with same-week dispatch from within the bloc. Stock across the group's owned brands - Brave Soul, Good For Nothing, Going Somewhere and Ruby Tuesday - can now be held and shipped locally, alongside private label programmes running to retailer-specific delivery windows. Rotterdam was chosen for its position on Europe's largest port and its road and rail links into the major Western European markets, placing the group's inventory within short reach of partners in the Netherlands, Germany, France and the Nordics. The Rotterdam site operates alongside the group's existing UK operation, which continues to serve domestic and international accounts.
